350 Vietnamese and international businesses are expected to participate in the Vietnam International Tourism Mart – VITM Da Nang in December.

The Vietnam Society of Travel Agents and the Da Nang Tourism Department told a press conference on Saturday that they expect to welcome about 30,000 visitors at the event to be held from December 9-11.

About 60 to 80 travel agents from the US, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, India, and Western European and Southeast Asian countries are scheduled to attend the Mart and activities to survey tourism destinations in Vietnam.

Within the framework of event are seminars on marine tourism, digital transformation in tourism, and tourism and resort real estate.

“The event focuses on promoting marine tourism, a priority of Vietnam’s tourism, with the prime destinations being Da Nang and the central region. VITM aims to promote cooperation between domestic and international tourism businesses with Da Nang and the central region and attract a large number of businesses to Da Nang,” said Vu The Binh, President of the Vietnam Society of Travel Agents.
