A seminar was held on Firday in Buon Ma Thuot city to discuss ways to create impetus for Dak Lak province’s tourism growth in the new situation.

Seminar participants spoke of local agricultural tourism development potential, several solutions to develop green agricultural tourism in combination with community tourism, and experience in planning and development of agricultural tourism economy.

Architect Pham Thanh Tung of Vietnam Association of Architects, said, “Agri-tourism is a model with a diverse resource of revenue which may come from agriculture, experience, and the model in combination with homestay services. It’s necessary to set up communities to jointly support the development of agricultural tourism to attract investors. To that end this requires a comprehensive planning.”
