Deputy PM: Aid packages be delivered to people as quickly as possible

 

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and the Government’s Special Working Group on Thursday worked with Ho Chi Minh City’s Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Dam asked Ho Chi Minh City have a plan to manage shippers and retail workers, especially regular testing, to limit the spread the disease and keep the supply chain secure.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the City to review the support for those who are facing difficulties, unemployed, have no other income, and live in the isolated areas. He noted that aid packages must be delivered to people as quickly as possible, especially people living in hostels and households with young children.

As the new school year begins, Deputy Prime Minister Dam said that in any circumstances, Ho Chi Minh City must pay special attention to teaching and learning in the new school year with very specific solutions.
