Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son described external information service as a bright spot, contributing to the  achievements recorded by Vietnam and the diplomatic sector in particular. Speaking at a New Year meeting with domestic media agencies in Hanoi on Thursday, Minister Son said the media have played an important role in raising the country’s status and reputation in the international arena, and mobilizing public support for external relations.

On behalf of media agencies, the Voice of Vietnam’s Vice President Ngo Minh Hien affirmed that the media will continue to accompany the ministry in the external information service and work harder to promote a Vietnam of innovations.
