German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Monday concluded his two-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. 

In a Twitter post, the Chancellor thanked Vietnam for the warm welcome, saying that Vietnam is an important partner of Germany.

The German Embassy in Hanoi applauded the success of Scholz’s visit to Vietnam, citing Monday talks with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and a meeting with Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The German Chancellor also visited a famous place called Hoan Kiem Lake to learn more about Vietnamese culture and life.

The German Government’s website said the visit helps consolidate international order and trade relations between the two countries.
