Hanoi officials pay tribute to V.I.Lenin on Russian October Revolution

A delegation of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi on November 5 paid a floral tribute to Vladimir Ilyich Lenin at his statue on Dien Bien Phu street to mark the 104th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917-2021).

The delegation was led by member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh.

Joining the delegation were Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, Chairman of the municipal People’s Council and vice head of Hanoi’s delegation of National Assembly deputies Nguyen Ngoc Tuan; Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong, and Head of the municipal Party Committee’s Education and Communication Commission Bui Huyen Mai.

The officials recalled Lenin’s great contributions to the global revolutionary cause and expressed their determination to never give up on his ideology and revolutionary path, as well as Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh ideology to build a beautiful, wealthy and civilized Hanoi, contributing to the proletarian revolutionary cause.

Lenin masterminded the Bolshevik take-over of power in Russia in 1917. He was the architect and first leader of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republic. He was also a great teacher of workers worldwide.
