On September 5, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi National Assembly delegation Dinh Tien Dung attended the opening ceremony for the new school year at the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Tran Thuy Duong, Principal of the school, informed that, with 30 medals in international competitions and 77 students winning prizes at the national competitions, the Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted continues to maintain its status as a leading school for training national talents and leave its mark on the international knowledge competitions. In the school year 2021-2022, the school also attained high achievements in the development of the Party and the Youth Union with 3 outstanding students were admitted to the Party.
Emphasizing that this is an important premise for Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted to start its 37th school year, Duong suggested that teachers continue to devote themselves to their profession and overcome challenges in the period of educational reform to successfully complete their respective tasks. Meanwhile, each student strives to cultivate knowledge and live fully with compassion and solidarity.
On behalf of more than 3,000 students, Chu Hoa Bao Tram, Grade 12 majoring in History affirms that she will try with the highest determination to continue promoting the school’s traditions, striving to practice virtue, bring into full play talent, and complete learning goals.
