HCM City reopens dine-in service

As from Thursday, eateries in Ho Chi Minh City are allowed to resume dine-in service, but they must close at 9pm each day and only serve 50% of their normal customer capacity. Alcoholic drinks are still not allowed, except at wedding halls and tourist facilities.

Ho Chi Minh City’s authorities on Wednesday issued a decision on reopening dine-in service after five months of COVID-19 restrictions.
District 7 and Thu Duc City can serve alcohol in regular restaurants under a pilot scheme until Nov. 15 with specific areas to be decided by local authorities.
Customers are required to leave records of entry at each food and drink establishment using QR codes via the health declaration/medical surveillance system.
