Ho Chi Minh City nearly finishes testing people in lockdown, very high risk zones

As of last Friday, most localities in Ho Chi Minh City had completed COVID-19 testing in lockdown and very high risk zones.

Pham Duc Hai, Deputy head of the city’s Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, said at a pressconference on Sunday that lower risk zones must complete 2-phase testing by September 6.

More than 1.6 million antigen rapid test samples were taken from people in high-risk areas and more than 64,000 people tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
