Ho Chi Minh City reports most of 116 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday noon

 

– Vietnam reported 115 more cases of COVID-19 in 11 localities and 1 imported case in Kien Giang, said  the Ministry of Health at noon on Wednesday. 

With 63 more infections Ho Chi Minh City continued to be the locality with the most cases. The remaining localities include Binh Duong (24), Hung Yen (9), Bac Giang (8), Bac Ninh (5), Phu Yen (2) ), Long An (1), Binh Dinh (1), Hai Phong (1), and Bac Kan (1).

Vietnam has to date recorded a total of 16,623 COVID-19 cases, of which more than 3,970 cases were reported in Ho Chi Minh city. 6,764 patients have been cured and 80 have died.

The 14 provinces that have not recorded new cases in the community for 14 days are Yen Bai, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Bac Lieu, Dien Bien, Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Phu Tho, and Ha Nam.

As of noon on Wednesday the National COVID-19 Vaccine Fund has received more than 4.5 million USD via text messages and 344 million USD contributed by organizations and individuals.
