JCPOA talks in Vienna to resume after Christmas holidays

– Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said Monday that negotiations on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the Iran nuclear deal, will resume after the Christmas holidays in Europe. The latest negotiations concluded in Vienna days ago. Iran and Russia have said there was progress in the latest round of talks, but US officials did not share that view.

Tehran also said earlier that it reached a “good agreement” with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
