National Assembly opens 4th session

As the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly opened on Thursday morning, deputies listened to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue’s speech. Secretary General of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong reported on revising the proposed agenda of the session, followed by a vote to approve the agenda. During the 21-day session, deputies will spend most of the time on law-making and supreme supervision. They will consider and approve 7 law projects, 3 draft resolutions and give opinions on 7 other bills.

Before the opening of the session, leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front and National Assembly deputies laid wreaths and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.
