Ship 366 of Navy Region 3 rescued fishing boat QB 98215TS in distress at sea and towed it to shore on August 8.

While operating in waters about 48 nautical miles southeast of Ly Son island (Quang Ngai province), the fishing boat’s gearbox and main engine were broken, causing the boat with 2 crew members on board to drift into stormy weather.

Upon receiving the news, the Navy Region 3 Command dispatched Ship 366 on a rescue mission. From the early morning to 7 pm, the naval Ship 366 was able to contact the fishing boat and towed it ashore.
