500 domestic and foreign diplomats and scholars met on Thursday at the 13th East Sea International Conference to discuss new approaches to maritime issues. Being held both online and offline, the two-day meeting themed “Looking back to a brighter future” will comprise eight discussion sessions, including “The East Sea in a shifting global landscape”, “Cementing the legal order in the East Sea”, “Be fair to the facts: History and the East Sea”, and “ASEAN and the QUAD in the regional architecture”.
