(VOVWORLD) -President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis have discussed practical ways to boost bilateral ties during their telephone conversation on Wednesday. 

Both Presidents agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in trade, education and labor.

President Iohannis expressed his country’s willingness to support Vietnam in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic and decided to grant Vietnam 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines.

President Phuc said he thanked Romania for the support for Vietnam which is battered by the pandemic and hoped it will contribute practically to Vietnam’s pandemic control effort.
