Seven localities pilot welcoming international visitors

Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Dinh are the latest  two localities agreed by the Government to pilot a scheme to welcome international tourists to Vietnam, nearly two months after Vietnam decided to open its borders to tourists. According to a Government Office document, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with ministries and sectors to study and adjust the temporary guidelines on piloting international arrivals to Vietnam to comply with current regulations.

Before Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Dinh, five provinces already welcomed international visitors, including Kien Giang, Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang and Quang Ninh.
