Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said Monday that he believes Thailand will do a good job of hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in November. He said the meeting will focus on post-COVID-19 economic recovery, trade and investment facilitation, global warming, and the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economic development model.
Deputy Prime Minister Don Pramudwinai said many APEC leaders have confirmed their attendance but didn’t give a specific number.
Preparations are underway for the summit in Bangkok scheduled from 14 to 19 November.
