National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue hailed the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association on Tuesday for its contributions to the solidarity between the two countries. During a reception for the Association’s President Boviengkham Vongdara in Vientiane,

Chairman Hue described people-to-people diplomacy as an important diplomatic channel between Vietnam and Laos, in which associations play a significant role.

The top legislator underlined the need to preserve and promote the rare relationship between the 2 countries. Mr. Vongdara said his association will work to enhance Laos-Vietnam economic, trade and investment ties.
