Traditional Tet recreated in Hanoi’s Old Quarter

A range of activities to revitalize Vietnamese traditional Tet customs are underway at heritage sites in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Organized by the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the event features a ceremony at the Thang Long Royal Citadel, a Neu pole (New Year’s tree) installation ceremony, art performances, narcissus arrangement, and Banh Chung (square sticky rice cake) making.

Exhibitions are held on the theme of the Tiger Year, Light, and Pottery. Activities will last until February 15.
