Vietjet Air launches new routes connecting Da Nang to Mumbai, New Delhi

– Low-cost carrier Vietjet Air announced new flights linking Da Nang with Mumbai and New Delhi at a ceremony at Da Nang International Airport on Tuesday.

There will be three flights a week on the Mumbai-Da Nang route on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and four flights a week on the New Delhi-Da Nang route on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Tran Phuoc Son said Da Nang and the central region are appealing to Indian tourists.

“In recent years, Indian tourists have come to know Da Nang as a paradise for luxury travel and a wedding venue for Indian billionaires. New flights between Vietnam and India will boost foreign arrivals to Da Nang, given that India has 1.4 billion people,” Son explained.

Vietjet Air plans to open direct flights to Ahmedabad, India in December.
