Vietnam, Burundi sign agreement on visa exemption

Vietnam and Burundi have sealed an agreement on visa exemption for bearers of diplomatic and official passports.

The pact was signed on Friday by Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam to the UN and Ambassador Zéphyrin Maniratanga, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Burundi to the UN.

After the agreement takes effect, Vietnamese and Burundian citizens holding diplomatic and official passports will be granted a visa-free entry, stay, transit and exit within 90 days from the date of entry.
