Vietnam to reopen international flights from Feb 15

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam said Sunday that Vietnam will remove its COVID-19 restrictions on international passenger flights with all markets starting Tuesday with no limitation on the number of flights. Although international flights will operate normally, regulations for passengers entering Vietnam will still follow the guidance of the Ministries of Public Security, Foreign Affairs, and Health.

With the exception of China, all countries Vietnam has proposed restoring air routes to have agreed to the proposal.

Flights to Europe, Australia, and the US are already back in operation.

Japan and South Korea are still restricting flights from Vietnam for pandemic control.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, the aviation industry is ready to resume full operation as before the COVID-19 outbreak.
