Bac Ninh - The northern province of Bac Ninh's Tu Son city became a hub for young minds at the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Festival 2023 on November 15. Organized by the provincial Department of Education and Training and Kenan Foundation Asia (Kenan), the festival welcomed 300 students from 10 secondary schools.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the festival is a part of the collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Training's Secondary Education Department and Kenan, an initiative that began in Hanoi in 2018. This was the first time the festival was organized in Bac Ninh, offering students a platform to engage in various STEM activities. These activities aimed to enhance soft skills such as leadership, cooperation, communication, and counterargument, while fostering a passion for STEM. Vu Duc Hoang, a student from Tien An Secondary School in Bac Ninh city, expressed that the festival encouraged him to create more useful products for everyday life. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep from Quang Phu Secondary School in Luong Tai district hoped for more such festivals to equip students with essential soft skills.
