The Crown Prince of Denmark Frederick and his wife will visit Vietnam next week in celebration of 50 years of relations between the two countries, according to Danish Ambassador Nicolai Prytz. Ambassador Prytz told a press briefing in Hanoi on Tuesday that the 4-day visit, starting Monday, aims to promote cooperation in investment, climate change response, renewable energy, particularly wind power, and energy savings and efficiency.
He said Vietnam and Denmark share a goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 as pledged at COP26.
Crown Prince Frederick will attend the groundbreaking ceremony of a LEGO factory in the southern province of Binh Duong. This will be LEGO’s first carbon neutral plant in the world.
