Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the Government’s consistent viewpoint that people and enterprises are the centre, key players, target, and motivate of digital transformation.
At an event to mark National Digital Transformation Day in Hanoi on Monday, PM Chinh said digital transformation must let people and businesses benefit from public services and social utilities faster and more conveniently, more efficiently.
“We need to focus on fine-tuning mechanisms and policies and effectively implementing the national digital transformation strategy, concurrently developing regulations, digital infrastructure, digital platforms, and digital human resources,” said Prime Minister Chinh.
“We also need to take steps to promote Vietnam’s global e-Government, innovation, and competitiveness rankings. Improving the efficiency of administrative procedures handled online and the quality of online public services is also very important. We ”
On Sunday, the Vietnam Digital Media Association and VietTimes e-magazine presented the Digital Transformation Award 2022 to 49 products and technologies.
“The Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2022 and the seminar ‘Accelerating digital transformation – For the practical benefit of people and businesses’ are responses to National Digital Transformation Day on October 10 and part of the National Digital Transformation Program,” said Nguyen Minh Hong, Chairman of the Vietnam Digital Media Association and head of the Organizing Committee.
For five consecutive years, since 2018, the Award has honored more than 350 digital transformation initiatives and organizations.
The Ministry of Information and Communications has established a National Digital Transformation Portal at dx.gov.vn to provide information to businesses about the digital transformation process.
