-Five Vietnamese universities are listed in the 2023 edition of the Best Global Universities Rankings published by the US News & World Report, which includes more than 2,000 universities in 95 countries. The five are Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Ton Duc Thang University, Duy Tan University, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

In addition to ranking US universities and colleges, the US News & World Report publishes the Best Global Universities Rankings to help students who are considering enrolling in a university overseas see how US universities compare globally.

Best Global Universities assesses universities on 13 indicators, including research reputation (through surveys) and research quality (through data analysis of the Clarivate Analytics InCites database).
