Hanoi mayor inspects COVID-19 prevention work at Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School

 

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh paid a visit to the Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School (Van Mieu Ward, Dong Da District) to inspect enforcement of COVID-19 preventive measures for the 2021 national high school graduation exam.

He monitored the observance of preventive measures at the exam site to ensure absolute safety for all candidates and participants.

 

All candidates must have their body temperature checked, disinfect their hands before entering the testing room, and wear masks for the duration of the exam, the mayor asked.

 

The Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School has 12 exam rooms with nearly 290 students.

Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh valued the school’s effort in making careful preparations for the exam. Each exam site has worked out detailed scenarios to deal with arising problems, including plans for natural disaster response, he added.

 

Anh expressed his belief that with the participation of the entire political system in organizing the exam, Dong Da District would organize the exam in proper and safe manner.

 

In effort to realize the twin goal of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and boosting socio-economic development, the city permitted the re-opening of several services, the mayor said, urging the local administration and people to stay vigilant and take effective measures against the pandemic in new situation.

Stressing that the whole political has joined hands to create the best conditions for students sitting this year’s exam, Anh hoped that all parents and citizens would continue to strictly abide by encounter measures against the pandemic.

 

He also wished all candidates good heath and to score the best on the examinations.
