Hanoi mayor meets voters of Dong Da district

 

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh along with deputies of the municipal People’s Council’s of the 3rd constituency on October 6 had a meeting with voters of Dong Da district to report the results of the council’s second session. 

The event was held in both in-person and online forms due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

At the meeting, the constituents expressed their delight at results of the second session of the municipal People’s Council.

 

According to them, at the session, the municipal council adopted important resolutions to ensure social security in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Local voters also raised their concerns on various issues related to COVID-19 prevention and control work, the support for virus-hit people, the fight against corruption and renovation of old apartment buildings, among others.

 

Speaking at the meeting, Hanoi mayor Chu Ngoc Anh briefed the constituents on the city’s socio-economic development in the first nine months of the year and COVID-19 effort fight.

 

He affirmed that the pandemic has been initially put under control, and the city is now entering a new normal to facilitate production and boost economic recovery.

 

He acknowledged voters’ opinions and clarified some points concerning renovation of old apartment buildings in Dong Da district, and the resumption of classes.

 

On behalf of the deputy group, Anh pledged to forward the voters’ concerns to the municipal People’s Council for consideration and settlement as stipulated by law.
