Amid the complicated COVID-19 situation, the Party organization, authorities, armed forces and people of Hanoi have worked together to put the pandemic under control, boost socio-economic development, and maintain political and social security, she added.

Besides, the city has implemented preferential policies to support people facing difficulties due to the pandemic.

Tuyen attributed the above-mentioned achievements to the support of the Christian community to the municipal authorities for the city’s development.

She hoped that the church will continue carrying out the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws, and encourage  the Protestant dignitaries and followers to make more contributions to the city’s development.

Pastor Nguyen Huu Mac thanked the authorities for creating favorable conditions for the church to carry out religious activities in the context of COVID-19.

He stated the church will actively respond to patriotic emulation movements, especially the fight against COVID-19 while joining hands in socio-economic development and poverty reduction.
