The Health Ministry confirmed more than 94,376 new infections of COVID-19 in 61 provinces and cities across Vietnam on Monday.

The three localities with the highest number of new cases were Hanoi with 12,850 cases, Quang Ninh (9,105), and Nghe An (3,958).

Vietnam has so far confirmed 3,443,485 cases including 2,438,951 recoveries. 40,252 patients have died.

More than 193 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered nationwide.
