Prime Minister meets Vietnamese community in China

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with officials of Vietnam’s representative agencies and the Vietnamese community in China on Sunday afternoon, after he arrived in Beijing for an official visit to China and attendance of the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

At the meeting, representatives of the Vietnamese community in China said they believe that the Prime Minister's visit will contribute to strengthening the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, promoting the national image, and attracting more investment in Vietnam.

Prime Minister Chinh said that the partnership between Vietnam and China is maintaining its growth momentum and deepening the traditional relationship between the two countries.

He briefed on the domestic situation, saying Vietnam has controlled well the COVID-19 epidemic and the economy is recovering with stable macro-economy, inflation under control and major balances secured.

The Prime Minister said he hopes that the Vietnamese community in China will continue to bridge the relationship between the two countries and look towards their homeland.
