Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh paid a visit for Tet on Thursday to the High Command of Guard Police, and checked their readiness for the Lunar New Year. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged the Guard Police to fulfill their tasks of building elite forces with a strong political will and loyalty to the Party, nation, and people.
“The Party and State always pay special attention to building the People’s Guard Police to be a core force and an iron shield to firmly protect the Party, the State, and people. The Party and State believe that the People’s Guard Police will continue to uphold the heroic tradition with a new spirit and new motivation to obtain many outstanding achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Guard Police on February 16 and contribute to the cause of national construction and defense.”
The same day the Prime Minister paid a Tet visit to the Department of Internal Political Security. He asked them to continue to defend the ideological foundation of the Party, fight against hostile forces, and closely monitor the situation to make prompt forecast to defend internal political security.
Later on the day, the Prime Minister visited officials and soldiers of the Tank and Armored Army.
