– Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday accused Western countries of escalating the situation in the Black Sea. Speaking at a meeting of the Foreign Ministry in Moscow, Putin said the West is going “beyond limits” by conducting “provocative military exercises.”
He added that Russia will respond appropriately to NATO military activities near its borders.
