Singaporean PM contemplates Hanoi center, tries local food

Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong took a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi and enjoyed the capital's cuisine on Sunday evening upon his arrival. He used his mobile phone to take photos of crowded restaurants, the Ba Kieu temple, the Ngoc Son temple, and entertainment activities on the pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake. He then visited the Ngoc Son Temple, a special national relic dating from the 19th century where he was told the legend of Hoan Kiem Lake and the tortoise specimen displayed here.

Hoan Kiem Lake is often included in the schedule of foreign leaders to visit Hanoi, because it’s seen as the "Heart of the Capital", which contains various cultural values of thousands of years of civilization of Thang Long-Hanoi.
