South Korea and the United States wrapped up their annual summertime military drills on Thursday. The computer-simulated exercises ran for 10 days from August 16, mainly focused on defense and counterattack strategies, according to officials.
Due to COVID-19 risks, the drills were held in different locations and scaled down without the US’s reinforcement troops from abroad.
Such drills are held annually to maintain South Korea-US military ties.
