On September 10th, 2021, the Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province received the donation from Thua Thien Hue’s Public Security Department to support Hue locals affected by Covid-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh city and southern localities. The standing Member of the Party Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province Nguyen Nam Tien and Deputy Director of provincial Public Security Department Hoang Van Thanh attended the ceremony.
In response to the appeal for supporting Hue locals affected by Covid-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh and southern localities made by the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu, Thua Thien Hue Public Security Department donated VND 1 billion to join hand with the Party, locals and soldiers to soon defeat Covid-19 pandemic and bring back normal life. According to Deputy Director Hoang Van Thanh, this effort showed national patriotic tradition, community responsibility and “tuong than tuong ai” (solidarity) spirit of staff and soldiers.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thua Thien Hue province, Mr. Nguyen Nam Tien received the donation and extended sincere thank to Thua Thien Hue Public Security Department for the timely support given to the people in need. Since the appeal of Secretary Le Truong Luu was made, the province received over VND 5,2 billion. Nearly VND 1 billion was distributed to Hue people affected by the pandemic in Ho Chi Minh and southern localities (VND 1 million/household).
