Connecting Viet Youth 2017 promotes creativity, dynamism

Various activities will be held in Hanoi this Sunday during an event called Connecting Viet Youth 2017.

A Run for Charity in Hang Day Stadium, the highlight of the event, could attract 3,000 young participants.

The annual event is sponsored by Hanoi's Students' Association in coordination with the Global Shapers Community-Hanoi Hub, the Vietnamese Student Association in the UK, the Volunteer for Education Organization, and the Vietnamese Student Association in the US, Australia, France, the Republic of Korea, Hungary, and Singapore.

The event's aim is to connect Vietnamese youth, expose them to advanced technology, promote volunteer movements, and inspire the youth's dynamism.

Other activities include art and music performances, a blood donation program, a gift donation to 300 child patients undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and a forum on creativity in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution involving 1,000 young Vietnamese intellectuals studying and working around the world.
