Deepening Vietnam, Czech ties

On Monday, President Tran Dai Quang received Mr. Vojtech Filip, President of the Communist Party of Czech-Morava and Deputy Speaker of Lower House of the Czech Republic.

At the meeting, President Tran Dai Quang urged the two countries to expand cooperation in economics, trade, and investment thus deepening bilateral ties. President Tran Dai Quang proposed the two Parties strengthen cooperation and increase exchanges. He said he hoped that the Czech Parliament would support and boost the partnership and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and the EU and recognize Vietnam's market economy status. Mr. Vojtech Filip said the Czech Republic wanted to boost cooperation with Vietnam in trade, economics and national defense.
