Experts discuss Vietnam’s digital economy
The 2018 Vietnam Digital Economy Forum (VDEF), themed Challenges and Strategic Solutions for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the 4th Industrial Revolution, took place in Ho Chi Minh City Thursday.
The event was jointly held by the Association of Vietnam Scientists and Experts, Quang Trung Software City and the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies. It aims to share strategic visions and practical experience from pioneers and discuss the essential transformation in the digital economy.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Nguyen Thanh Hung, told the forum that he hopes the experts would contribute opinions on how digital technology is applied in administrative management and public service for education, healthcare, transport and agriculture. Participants also discussed appropriate legal frameworks to deal with cyber disputes and building a digital database for enterprises and individuals.
