Greetings extended on Christmas

President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man visited a number of Catholic churches in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday.

Visiting the Ho Chi Minh City Archdiocese, Mr. Man praised Archbishop Bui van Doc and local Catholic followers for their contribution to national development: "On behalf of the Vietnamese Party, State, and the Fatherland Front, I wish the Archbishop, bishops, priests, Catholic dignitaries and followers a Merry Christmas.

The same day, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited Cardinal priest Pham Minh Man, who is former Archbishop of the Ho Chi Minh City Archdiocese and the Vietnam Protestant Church.

On Thursday, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization Truong Thi Mai and leaders of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs visited the Xuan Loc Archdiocese in Dong Nai province.
