Hanoi leaders congratulates press agencies on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2022), Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong visited the headquarters of the Party Central Committee Commission of Communication and Education and a number of press agencies.

According to Phong, such efforts have resulted in the strong solidarity of the entire political system and consensus among the public amid severe Covid-19 impacts, leading to positive achievements in different fields.

Phong noted the capital city is facing both challenges and opportunities, especially when the Politburo has issued resolution No.15-NQ/TW dated May 5, 2022 on the vision and objectives for Hanoi’s development until 2030, with a vision to 2050, and the National Assembly’s ratification for the construction of the Ring road No.4   in the capital   area.

To ensure the city’s successful realization of the resolution of the 13th Party congress, Phong expected Hanoi to focus on communication works to achieve high consensus in the political system and among the public.

For his part, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Commission of Communication and Education Tran Thanh Lam highly regarded Hanoi’s attention to the operation of press agencies, saying the commission is committed to cooperating with the city in ensuring effective press management.

Lam called for Hanoi to continue creating favorable conditions for the development of press agencies towards a humane and modern press industry, towards the celebration of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

At the Communist Review, Phong congratulated the agency’s entire staff ahead of the press day, stressing the important role of the Communist Review in the Party’s theoretical research.

Phong called for the Communist Review to continue cooperating with Hanoi in covering socio-economic activities in  the capital so that Hanoi could soon accomplish all the objectives assigned by the Party and the people.

At the Voice of Vietnam, Phong thanked the agency for providing accurate and timely information to the public, while working hand in hand with Hanoi during its development process.

Phong called for the Voice of Vietnam to continue supporting Hanoi in building trust among the public for the goal of promoting the development of the city.

At the Hanoi Radio-Television Station, Phong expected the agency to overcome difficulties and realize the expectations that the city’s leaders and people place on it.

Phong requested  Hanoi Radio-Television  to continue producing high quality works  and meet the city’s demands in communication.
