Indonesia earthquake: Death toll rise 350

The death toll from the earthquake that hit Lombok Island in Indonesia's West Nusa Tenggara province on Sunday has risen to 347, according to the State news agency Antara.

The powerful magnitude-6.9 quake has left 165,000 out of 200,000 people who live in the north of Lombok Island homeless, said a spokesperson of the Regional Disaster Management Agency. Approximately 20,000 people are in urgent need of assistance. Search and rescue forces, meanwhile, continue to search all the collapsed houses.
