Medical examination and gift for disadvantaged people in Tuyen Quang

A joint delegation of the Tuyen Quan provincial Military Command and Red Cross society conducted charity activities on May 7 in Tho Binh commune, Lam Binh district.

These joint activities are part of the free health checkup and medicine program 2019 of the two units for disadvantaged people in Tuyen Quang.

The delegation of officials, doctors, and physicians provided free health checkups and medicines for over 500 people, including national contributors, policy beneficiaries, and poor people in Tho Binh commune.

The delegation also popularized the campaign entitled All people unite in building new- style rural areas and civilized urban for more than 1,000 local people.

Previously, the delegation presented gifts, provided free health checkups and medicines for nearly 600 people, including national contributors, the elderly, Agent Orange victims and poor people in Linh Phu commune, Chiem Hoa district.

For 4 days (May 8 to May 11), the delegation will conduct a charity program in the communes of Xuan Lap (Lam Binh district), Thuong Nong, Thuong Giap (Na Hang district), Tan Thinh (Chiem Hoa district).

During the program, the delegation will provide free health checkups and medicines for over 4,000 people, particularly national contributors, policy beneficiaries and poor people in poor communes of Tuyen Quang province and present gifts to over 500 people of them.

The total expense for medicines and gifts worth over VND 500 million is covered by the Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup and other local benefactors.
