MPs submit 16 Brexit proposals to House of Commons

16 Brexit proposals were submitted by members of the House of Commons on Wednesday.

Proposals tabled included one by the Labour party proposing the establishment of a close economic relationship with the EU. The Labour party proposed that the UK sign a new tariff agreement with, and join certain agencies of, the EU. This is being called the soft Norway-style Brexit scenario, which ties the UK to the EU even after it ceases to be a member.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Unionist Party said a one-year Brexit delay would be better than agreeing to Theresa May's Brexit deal.
