PM pledges supports for Vietnam-Singapore cooperation in anti-crime
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Thursday highlighted the development of the Vietnam-Singapore strategic partnership and cooperation in all fields.
Speaking at a meeting with Singapore's Minister of Home Affairs and Law Shanmugam in Hanoi, the Prime Minister said the Vietnamese government always supports and creates conditions for Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs and Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security to strengthen cooperation. He urged the two Ministries to increase consultations on shared concerns in order to maintain peace, stability and development in their respective countries and the region. The Prime Minister asked the two sides to maintain cooperation mechanisms, increase information exchanges and work closely in fighting crimes and ensuring cyber security.
Minister Shanmugam said he hoped Prime Minister Phuc will support the two Ministries to cooperate in law building and crime prevention and control.
