Russia-North Korea summit to begin Thursday

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is traveling to Russia by train to attend his first summit with President Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok on Thursday.

Kremlin foreign-policy aide Yuri Ushakov said the two leaders will discuss political and diplomatic efforts to resolve nuclear issues on the Korean peninsula.

High on the agenda will be Russia-North Korea economic cooperation and cooperation for denuclearisation.
