Russia, US discuss cooperation in fighting terrorism

 

 

– CIA Director William Burns held talks in Moscow this week with Russian Foreign Intelligence Service chief Sergei Naryshkin on interagency cooperation and fighting terrorism. Burns served as US Ambassador to Russia from 2005 to 2008 and was appointed  CIA Director in March of this year.

Burns’s two-day visit to Russia concluded on Wednesday.

On Tuesday he met with Nikolai Patrushev, the head of Russia’s Security Council and both discussed US-Russia relations.
