Safe cyber space reduces online threats in Vietnam

Latest data from Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) shows that the number of cyber attacks in Vietnam has shown signs of decreasing.

Last year Kaspersky detected and blocked nearly 63.5 million cyber attacks via the Internet on personal computers of KSN users in Vietnam. It’s the lowest figure in the last five years, a reduction of 870,000 cases compared to 2020.

The percentage of Vietnamese users attacked by Internet threats was 41.5%, ranking 32nd globally.

One of the reasons is attributed to Vietnam’s effort to create a safe cyber space. Ministries, sectors, and localities have basically completed the formation of cyber space management and monitoring centers with connection to the National Cyber Security Center.
