South Korean reporters on route for North’s dismantling of nuclear test site

The first batch of South Korean reporters on Monday left for Beijing for a stopper before taking a short flight to North Korea to cover Pyongyang's dismantling of the Punggye-ri nuclear test site.

4 online news reporters and 4 radio reporters will be allowed to witness this event.

Earlier, North Korea invited reporters from the South as well as China, Russia, the US and Britain to cover the nuclear test site closure.

North Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said due to limited space, only reporters from those countries are invited to the event, which is likely to take place on Wednesday.
