Tran Thanh Man, Tran Cam Tu elected members of PCC Secretariat

The Party Central Committee (PCC) discussed personnel work under the chair of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Wednesday morning.

The Committee agreed to let Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member, Permanent member of the PCC Secretariat, and Chairman of the Inspection Commission, to leave his posts of chair as well as that of member the Inspection Commission.

The Committee elected Tran Cam Tu, member and Standing Vice Chairman of the Inspection Commission, as the Chairman.

The two additional members of the 12th PCC Secretariat elected at the session were Mr. Tu along with Tran Thanh Man, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

The Committee reached a decision on a disciplinary measure in the form of expelling from the Party Dinh La Thang, PCC member and deputy head of the Economics Commission.

In the afternoon, the Committee discussed the project on reforming salary policy for cadres, public servants, armed forces and employees in enterprises, under the chair of Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Politburo member and Chairwoman of the National Assembly.
